We have a huge selection of hard hat colors and styles along with Class E, Class G and Class C standard safety hard hats. Upon purchase, all of your hard hats will be packaged and shipped with the shell and whichever suspension insert you have selected. Each and every hard hat will meet the specific classification depending on the type of protection they provide. Class E, G and C standards refer to the level of electrical shock protection that is provided to the user. Class E hard hats offer the most protection against electric shock with protection of up to 20,000 volts. General or Class G hard hats provide protection from up to 2,200 volts of electricity, while Class C (conductive) provides no electrical volt protection for the user.
Hard hats are categorized as either a Type I or a Type II hard hat. Type I hard hats provide protection from top-side impact protection ONLY, while Type II hard hats offer protection not only from impact above, but also from impact received to the front, back or side of the hard hat. Additional protection and comfort from rain and sun can be achieved by using a full-brim hard or by utilizing a removable hard hat sun visor accessory. If you are planning on using hard hat attachments it is important to choose a safety hard hat that comes with the necessary built-in accessory attachment slots and nodules.
Hard hats are manufactured using a variety of materials including aluminum, fiberglass and HDPE high density plastics. Each type of material often has its own specific job or use, so if you need assistance in choosing the correct hard hat for your specific job or working condition, please don’t hesitate to call or email us with your questions.
